Mourning   Mourning

Mourning was created using Sketchbook as my drawing app. It was inspired by an Easter Morning Service I was attending. It’s early morning, the stone has been rolled away, the tomb is empty but filled with light. The pale, full moon is sinking toward the horizon.

Elijah   Elijah and Elisha

Elijah and Elisha have just crossed the Jordan River and are walking toward the desert. The whirlwind and the chariot of fire within it is approaching. Elijah will soon be taken up to heaven. First painted using Fresh Paint, then edited with Sketchbook.

The Vision   Desert Vision

This digital painting, Desert Vision, (produced using Sketchbook) is my interpretation of the vision recorded in Ezekiel chapter 1.

Candle   Candle Flame

Watching the altar candle before the Eucharist began, I was studying the candle flame and this inspired a picture which I drew using Sketchbook and edited with MS Paint.

Which DoorWhich Door?

This is one of my first efforts at three dimensional perspective drawing. The picture depicts a corridor, at the end of which are two doors. One leading to abundant life; the other to mediocracy. Our life choices determine which door we enter.

Blood Moon large   Blood Moon

Smoke and dust in the upper atmosphere coupled with a large full moon produced this striking Blood Moon. I used Sketchbook to create this picture.
