This morning, after being gently woken by FM Classic Music, I opened my eyes to see a bright crimson glow in my room. I rose and looked out of my window to see the most gloriously coloured sunrise. The crimson was reflect by scattered clouds in the eastern sky. I stood spell-bound as these changed from crimson, to pink, and then to a golden orange as the sun peeped above the McIvor Range. The clouds were set in a sky which shaded from light gold through azure blue to a deep shade of green. Truly an amazing spectacle which no earthly painter would have the skill to copy!
